Dear Daddy,
I hope this prayer finds you well.
It's always good to talk with Thee,
through the good times and the bad.
How am I? Well, I'm missing your company
and the relationship we once had.
Daddy,
I'm sorry I left home with the attitude I had.
Life is not working out!
Since I left you it's been bad!
As you know, I've moved
from the place where I was saved
and I'm missing you!
Can I come home today?
It's true, I've been far too busy,
going here and going there!
I'm sorry I haven't called you
sooner in prayer!
Daddy, please let me hear from Thee, ASAP?
Love always,
Your son.
Dearest Son,
Since your birth when I gave you life
I have always been by your side,
though you did not always know!
I have never let you go!
Although you can't see my hand,
you can always feel my touch
through faith in my living word!
My love letters given to man.
You'll find my image expressed through
He who was born of a virgin mother.
Only trust Him.
He is the way to the higher realm,
and He's not ashamed to call you His brother!
I sent Jesus my Divine Son
just for you in your time of need.
We are one.
He will lead you back to me!
Only take heed! Do not as before!
The last time He came to your home
he knocked upon a stone-clad door!
When you refused His truth my child, you were refusing me!
But I've forgiven you!
Peace I give and leave with thee.
I've provided for all your needs
in your new home next to me!
You'll love the street it's on.
It's paved in gold not far from my throne!
Love always,
Father

Dear Daddy,
He's here and I've let him in!
Together we have supped!
How I thank you O so much!
He's now my dearest friend!
And Daddy,
we wrote this song together in honor of your love!
In Christ my living Savior,
I am alive today.
And though I often stray at times,
forgetful of the way.
He always guides me safely home
into my Daddy's arms,
who wraps me in a bliss divine
where I am not alarmed!
In peace He secures me
from all the daily cares.
And where time, once my enemy,
is now my lot to share:
The glories of eternity,
where death can't touch me there.
And all because of Calvary,
when the grave met it's defeat;
where Jesus walked victoriously
and took the keys for you and me!
