Concerning the Berlin Wall and Germany:
When Germany was cut in half, the headlines screamed at the time, "Germany is Dead. She Will Never Rise Again!" In 1986, Life Magazine called the Berlin Wall, "A Rusty Knife Wound."

More of the article read:
"The Berlin Wall's 25th Anniversary Wednesday spotlighted it's unique role as the stark symbol of East-West differences, the bricks and mortar of propaganda-the 29 mile wound that won't heal."

When the wall came down in 1989, Time Magazine said, "It was a deep wound in European civilization-and it is finally gone!" I believe the healing of this deadly wound is the event prophesied in Revelation 13:1-4 and in Daniel 7:3-6; the healing of one of the four heads of the leopard, (Germany), that causes the whole world to wonder after the beast-or the forming of the International New World Order, with which foundation (that died but came back to life) the antichrist will use to his advantage.

I don't see the "mortal wound" and resurrection involved in Rev. 13:1-4 as being something that literally happens to a man of evil, since the devil or the antichrist does not have that specific power and authority to resurrect himself from the death literally.

Revelation says concerning this beast (or world system): "which had the wound by a sword, and did live" or in other words was terribly wounded by WAR (a sword) and the antichrist will cause it to "come alive" again and thrive!

He will make the system appealing as some kind of world wide food distribution program, that will have THREE levels of membership. His system will cater to all levels of classes, but those who take part will have to either take:

1) the mark of the beast, (probably the common working class, including "city employees") 2) the name of the beast, (a higher level, state and governmental workers) 3) the number of his name! (an even higher level, world political leaders and those of his personal "trusted" staff)

Observe closely:
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Rev 13:17 KJV)

Three areas are mentioned.

He will cause the beast to come alive and work again! The New World Order that was affected by war and which lost it's power, or figuratively had "died"- will be revived again!

JACK VAN IMPE in his article, 'The Rebuilding of the Temple' said,

"The antichrist will come into prominence and power by signing a seven-year peace contract with Israel (Daniel 9:27). Three and a half years after its signing, he will proclaim himself to be God, the true Messiah, and will set himself up as the global ruler in a temple in Jerusalem. Study carefully 2 Thessalonians 2:4",

"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

According to the prophetic Psalms chapter 137, (that relates to the year 2037), we see a time of woe;

Ps 137:1-By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

(vs. 3)-For there they that carried us away captive...;

that I believe is the start of the seven years of great Tribulation somewhere within that year.

Because in Psalm 140 verse two (2040) the war is mentioned Ps 140:2-'... they gathered together for war', that I believe is with Gog or Russia, who gets an evil thought, as the Psalms says, "Which imagine mischiefs in their heart"; (Ps 140:2 KJV).

And Psalm 144 (2044) relates to the actual return of the Lord to the earth!

Ps 144:4-5 4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away. 5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. (KJV)

It is clear from verse one that the Lord has returned to do battle against the beast and the antichrist, and He is with his saints:

Ps 144:1 Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Ps 144:6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.

If the last of all wars involving Russia is to occur during the later half of the Tribulation before the Lord's actual coming to the earth. The time frame of both 3 1/2 year periods mentioned here in the Psalms fits.

The beast, (and the influence of the false prophet) the son of perdition, (which means damnation), will cause everyone (not written in the Lamb's Book of Life) to see him in light of a god or the saviour, the returned Messiah, the false christ! Then the number system (if not already inacted) will really take off, and between the influence of the false prophet and the power of the beast.... (the world system of the antichrist that people will have to depend on to survive) ...they will cause everyone, large and small, rich and poor, free or in prison to take the mark!

Revelation 6:8 will be in full swing! The Pale Horse of Revelation (with hell following) comes into play during the era of the 6th Trumpet period, before the FINAL TRUMPET when the Lord himself will descend from heaven with His saints and reveal Himself literally to set things right and to judge the world!

-And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (Rev 6:8 KJV)

Concerning the pale horse with the rider, "Death", according to Zechariah 6:5, it tells us that the horses are spirits or geopolitical powers on the earth which have the necessary power and infrastructure to rule a global government, that by doing so have the power to "quiet" or suppress the spirit of God in man.

These powers or spirits that were sent out to certain parts of the world in a certain order, in the proper order of history are: Catholicism, Communism, Capitalism, and Death, (with hell following).

At this moment we are in the era of the age of Capitalism; the fifth Trumpet era.

This war with China IS NOT the final war or "Armageddon" .....!! As I will now show:

Armageddon comes at the VERY FINAL stage of prophecy ("in the latter years", Ezek 38:8) after the man of sin is revealed, and it involves Gog, the land of Magog, or Soviet Russia.

CHAPTER 39 of Ezek. says:
(vs.) 1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: (vs.) 2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: (KJV)

It also says this about Russia:

Ezek 38:8-After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. (KJV)

"latter"- is the word: 319 'achariyth (akh-ar-eeth'). It means "the last or end", "the after part; b) latter time (prophetic for future time) or the: last, hindermost.

"that is" are inserted words not found in the original. So it should read: "thou shalt come into the land brought back from the sword",

"brought back" is the one word: 7725 shuwb (shoob); it means "to turn back" with the idea of NOT necessarily with the return to the starting point. Shuwb means to be brought back, or turned back; figuratively to restore, to refresh, to repair.

"from the sword"- is the word 2719 chereb (kheh'-reb; it means drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement: -axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool.

"and is" - are also inserted words.

So Ezek 38:8 should read;

"in the latter years thou shalt come into the land brought back from the sword, gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste":

"have been"- is 1961 hayah (haw-yaw); meaning: "to exist, or had become".

"always" is 8548 tamiyd (taw-meed'); meaning continuance, continual.

"waste" is 2723 chorbah (khor-baw'); drought, desolate, a place laid waste with ruin, waste, desolation.

So we see that Gog (Russia) gets an evil plan and moves on Israel that has been brought back from the sword, or war, whom were gathered out of many surviving people -'against the mountains of Israel' after a time of desolation or ruin... "but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them"....(end of vs. 8).....

Israel will be brought forth from all over the globe,

"out of the nations" -5971 `am (am); a people (as a congregated unit), and afterwards this country (Russia) from the NORTH (with it's allies) comes against Israel,

Ezek 38:15-16 says:
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. (KJV)

Directly north on the globe, (not East-where China lies), but straight north of Jerusalem is Moscow, with St. Petersburg directly north of it!

The scriptures in Zechariah are clear about the nation that brings on the war as being from the EAST, not the North! (that John describes as being, "for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men"; with the 200 million army).

It is years AFTER this period (as the prophetic Psalms show) when the antichrist is finally revealed as evil and he begins to war with the saints, with the (remaining) saints during the last 42 months, (3 1/2 yrs.), of the antichrist's reign during what is consider the last 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation.

The war involving the 200,000,000 army will have taken many from the earth! So we can see more clearly what it means by the phrase "alive and remain" concerning the rapture.

1Thes 4:15-17
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV)

...for many SAINTS in the earth will have been killed possibly long BEFORE a rapture!

Any left alive (just before the actual seven years of Tribulation), that are still looking for a rapture at this time will most likely go up with any saints that were killed in the war involving China along with the rest of the dead in Christ!

So between now and 2044, if the rapture doesn't happen between 2004 to 2007, the war involving China might take your life, but if you do survive the many years after that destruction, and resist the mark,... the son of perdition or the anti christ will do war with you, or if you compromise and receive the mark to "save" yourself from starving - the eternal wrath of God will be upon you, and/or the last war Armageddon will take your life- involving Russia-

So why would any set their heart upon this world? Set your heart's hope in Christ!

Assuming China makes the three sucessful nuclear strikes at the beginning of the 13 month war... and counting backwards 13 months from the early part of 2007... (the time of the year when it seems apparent in the Psalms that this terrible war has ended): Ps 107:2-7 (representing the year 2007) 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; 3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. (KJV) ... that would put the time period around August 2005 - if going by the months of the year in the Jewish calendar - or around December 2005 -by the Roman calendar.

Every believer who may be dollying and dabbling into the things and love of the world needs to get prepared!

Many believe: "I need to be ready for the rapture", but ARE YOU ready to die when the bombs strike?

One way or the other, we will meet the Lord soon enough.

Concerning the rapture,.. remember how it says "the dead in Christ shall rise first"... and then the remaining which are alive will go in the twinkling of an eye? ...well it is more than likely some of us may die before the actual rapture occurs, but if so, you'll be first in the catching up.

Most Christians today think in the terms of still being alive when they make the rapture, but have you ever considered that YOU may be already DEAD when you make the rapture?

What I mean to convey is this, while you may be so concerned with making the rapture, death may take you first, and then you'll be raptured.... (if it is so that You are ready at any minute to die?)

Ouch. Who is ever ready to die? I don't want to necessarily die, do you? No. We all want to live. But when those spirits are released, the bombs will strike!

Any pleasure gained to save your self some suffering will not be worth it. It is later than You think! The day is far spent, beyond what many know OR WANT TO BELIEVE! But believe me or not, it's going to happen as the word shows, and I'm just trying to relay His word, to prepare people...with how close "your" eternity may be.

The eight chapter of the book of Zechariah deals with the specific involvement of the downfall of the Dome and the rebuilding of the Holy Temple on the Temple Mount. This is not speaking of some "far distant" time of prophecy, it's at our doors!

Lets look closely at this golden Dome of Omar, this Al-Aqsa Mosque and what scripture says about it:

Zech 4:1-2-And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, 2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: (KJV)

Concerning Zechariah 4:2, Adam Clarke Commentary says: "In general, the candlestick, its bowl, pipes, lamps, and olive trees, are emblems of the pure service of God, and the grace and salvation to be enjoyed by his true worshippers".

Well Mr. Adam Clarke "in general" such spiritualizing of the term "candlestick" might fit, BUT I disagree with Clarke that such is the true meaning in this setting. For one: if all these emblems truly represent "the pure service of God, and the grace and salvation to be enjoyed by his true worshippers" .... in this setting, ha, then pray tell me- why is God himself against it? And why is God calling it "O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth"? And why would He bring something of "pure service of God, and the grace and salvation to be enjoyed by his true worshippers" down from being a mountain to becoming a plain?; to be BURNT UP?

Mm, some of these old time commentators are way off base in their prophetic interjected comments! Of course that can be expected since some lived so long ago and had no idea what modern occurrences would be happening.

Matthew Henry types it "as" to the former Temple and also to the church.

His quotes: "When he observed he saw a golden candlestick, such a one as was in the temple formerly,.." (from Matthew Henry's Commentary- Zechariah 4:1-10 PP1)

"The church is a candlestick, set up for the enlightening of this dark world and the holding forth of the light of divine revelation to it". (from Matthew Henry's Commentary- Zechariah 4:1-10 PP1)

Here again "this candlestick" Zechariah saw has nothing to do with the former Holy Temple, nor do the Islamic worshippers embrace the Jewish menorah, so how could it be a golden candlestick such as one that was in the temple formerly? You will see below (Zech 4:6-7) how the angel has answered the question- that the candlestick with all it's emblems is that "great mountain" that will become a plain, that has a headstone that is sitting on God's holy habitation!

Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary types it to "a light-bearer".

Here's what Zechariah himself had to say in his commentary: -So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? (Zech 4:4 KJV)

-Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. (Zech 4:5 KJV)

Zechariah didn't know what the "Candlestick" meant: and I don't think the above commentators did either! However, I quoted them to show how "candlestick" can be typed to a place of enlightenment or a temple, whether false or true.

In Rev. 11:4, candlesticks is used to describe the two witnesses, who of course will be light bearers.

Rev 11:4-These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (KJV)

But the word in the Greek used here is 3087 luchnia (lookh-nee'-ah); and more properly refers not to a candlestick in terms of a "temple", but as to; a candelabrum or lamp-stand (literally or figuratively).

Notice how the angel of the Lord described such (the candlestick in Zech.) as a great mountain that shall become a plain that apparently held a building structure because it contained a "headstone" which is only found in structures!

Zech 4:6-7-Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. (KJV)

The word for "headstone" in this setting is the Hebrew, 68 'eben.

Strong's defines 'eben (eh'-ben); as being from the root word 1129 banah (baw-naw'). Banah means to build (literally and figuratively); established (made permanent); to build a house; to cause to continue"; and when referring to 'being built up' it has been used to represent a childless wife becoming the mother of a family through the children of a concubine.

Which is exactly what happened in Sarah's case, Abraham's wife, with the incident of Hanna, who bore in Sarah's stead a son for Abraham, his first child Ishmael from whom the Islamic peoples descended, and with this in mind we can see why the Lord used the term, "Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon" because the promise of the Holy blessing of God that includes the rightful possession of the Holy Mount comes through Isaac, the promised child and not through the child of trial and error or "man made" efforts.

The sons of Ishmael and the sons of Isaac have been fighting ever since, because each hold claim to the promise of God, but only one holds that right, Isaac! (Gen 17:20-21)

So this headstone that will be brought forth from the structure that is flattened, will have those shouting and crying "Grace, grace!" unto it because for the fact that it HAS fallen, and rightfully so!

One of 'Eben's definition is a "common stone (in it's natural state)", but it can also be stones containing metal (ore), c) precious stones, or h) a sacred object, as the memorial Samuel set up to mark where God helped Israel to defeat the Philistines.

Usually more modern headstones are those stones which contain metal or ore. It can also be considered a sacred object if such is in place upon what is looked upon as sacred, but Brown-Driver-Briggs also defines 'eben metaphorically as:

1) petrified with terror
2) perverse, hard heart

These are the exact terms we now know to describe Saddam (and his sons) who directly backed the placing of the golden headstone on the Dome of The Rock.

When it says, "Grace, grace unto it" (Zech. 4:7) that is shouted -it is not with fond respectfulness to the headstone that they will shout, but with respect to "GRACE" with gladness in regard to it being removed! "Unto it" is simply the little word 8705 le; a prefixed (inseparable) preposition;

It means:
1) to, toward;
2) at, in;
3) till, until;
4) in order to, for the purpose of;
5) for, belonging to, with respect to, in regard to, according to.

Who laid the original foundation on the building of the first Temple? -- Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and their brethren. (Ezra 3:8-13)

Zech 4:9 says: The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. (KJV)

If this man lived so long ago, and built the first Temple, how could he or "his hands" also finish it today?

The wording, "The hands" is the Hebrew word "Yad". And also "his hands" (as in, 'shall also finish it').. is also "Yad". So it could read:

"Yad Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; yad shall also finish it;"...

3027 yad (yawd); meaning, "a hand" or "the open one", [indicating power, means, direction, etc.], is used in a great variety of applications, both literally and figuratively, both proximate and remote [as follows]:

KJV-- charge, service, order, ordinance

Zech 4:9 simply means, "The hand of a man was charged, ordered, or ordained to lay the foundation, or to build the first Temple, and the hand of a man will be charged, ordered, or ordained to "also finish it" or "rebuild it again"!

More specifically, the part of Zech 4:9 that reads: "his hands shall also finish it"; is actually the Hebrew words: Yad batsa` yad batsa`

"(Yad)= his hands (batsa`)= shall (yad)= also (batsa`)= finish it";

1214 batsa`- meaning "to finish, to complete, to accomplish".

Who will be involved in the re building of the Temple?

Zech 6:15-And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD,... (KJV)

Zech 8:20-22-Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: 21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. 22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. (KJV)

How are "we" as believers to respond?

Zech 8:9-Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built. (KJV)

Here is the Interlinear Bible layout for all of Zech. 4:2: In the Hebrew: 'amar ra'ah 'attah mah 'el 'amar zahab menowrah hinneh ra'ah sheba` ro'sh `al gullah kol sheba` sheba` `al niyr ro'sh `al 'aher niyr muwtsaqah.

Here it is in English: Zech 4:2-And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: (KJV)

This part in the Strong's.... "and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof": ...is read in the Hebrew as -"sheba` niyr `al sheba` muwtsaqah niyr sheba` niyr 'aher `al ro'sh"....

If you study it closely, this is not saying the "temple" (or the candlestick of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it)- has seven lamps thereon or on it's top, with seven pipes...etc..etc...

but rather it means: the seven lamps thereon (not on top of) and the seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof... (upon the top of the lamps themselves)... not the temple!

The words, "the top thereof" is the one word: rosh.

7218 ro'sh- means "the upper part" and can also mean "the front".

Here is how the wording "sheba` niyr `al sheba` muwtsaqah niyr sheba` niyr 'aher `al ro'sh" corresponds:

sheba`= (and his seven)
niyr= (lamps)
`al= (thereon)

("and" is an inserted word -see post script *(x); ) sheba`= (seven)
muwtsaqah= (pipes)
niyr= (to the)
sheba`= (seven)
niyr= (lamps)
'aher= (which)

("are" is another inserted word-see *(x); ) `al =(upon)
ro'sh=(the top thereof)

For many of us, the end of this life is near. Much nearer than you may have realized, but I am not sorry for being the bearer of this news. I hope it will help you to be ready, and I hope to see you in God's Kingdom soon.

Concerning the "beast" of the antichrist ie, in chapter 13, every where "beast" is mentioned it is the word: therion (thay-ree'-on); meaning: a dangerous animal. The word comes from thera- which metaphorically, is used in the sense of preparing destruction for men. While not to be confused with the mentioning of the word "beast" as in the one speaking to John in Rev 6:5- "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see".

Early English translators used the same word (beast) for two different Greek words. In ALL of Revelation chapter 6 wherever the word "beast" is used, it is the word: zoon (dzo'-on-); meaning: a live thing, or being. The word is a neuter of a derivative of the primary verb; zao (dzah'-o); meaning: to live (literally or figuratively). Zao- is used of beings that have true life that are worthy of the name whom are active, blessed, and endless in the kingdom of God! As an adjective, zoa means: active, powerful, efficacious!
