 "Inspiration With An Attitude!"
(This Peace)
~ I know a good fellow whose heart was originally set on God.
He worked a garden spot with all diligence, hoping to make some headway
towards a peaceful life, but the fruit of indifference sowed the seed of strife
This cause and effect changed his whole life, and that of his
children and wife.
He has seen days of wrenching tears, entrenched with unshakable depression; full of anger and unfounded fears,
because he has rejected God's Son.
He has known the twisted hunger that turns a stomach into an empty
hull, drained of all energy until the mind is dull.
He has known violent abuse from those whom were meant to love him.
He is at fault for earth's greatest sin; causing also the ground to
be drenched with the blood of his family and friends.
The peace he can now hold is his own. It echoes to the heavens and
makes it so with God's peace. It must resound to his neighbor and to
everyone he meets.
This peace is the main stay grip upon the limb that hangs over the pit of circumstances and odds that always seem
against him.
When he learns not to solace his soul in the wretched consoles of worldly mirth, true solace will alleviate the need to do so.
When he finds his calling he will find this peace saddled upon the spirited steed of the will of God.
This peace is not only meant for the final resting place where this
good fellow's body will someday lie. It is meant as a present guide
to the wise whose steps are ones of action, un slumbered in the bed
of ease and futility.
A selfish will is this good fellow's worse enemy that often follows
unmarked in the very steps he steps..., waiting to pronounce it's
victory at the expense of his defeat!
This good fellow is humanity. It is you.
