His Whispers

We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,

In His whispers, deep within,
the voice of God is known
to the souls of all men
whose heart's are His throne!

His whispers of the Spirit
gently bends the limbs
of stubborness and pride
we sometimes hold inside!

The soft light of the SON
bares all that lies within;
where naked thoughts run
as the day we were born in sin!

With recognizable tones
may His whispers come to thee
in a language all it's own
scented in serenity and peace!

The gentle peace it brings
whispers as the wind
in the mind of a believer
because God is our friend!

We can never get enough
when we sit with Him to sup!
It sings to us to lift up
His banner over us called love!
